12 Significant Photos Project 2021
Welcome to my 2021 photography project presentation ‘12 Significant Photos’ inspired by a quote from the master of landscape photography Ansel Adams.
“Twelve significant photos in any one year is a good crop” - Ansel Adams
The idea of the project was to pick twelve locations that showcased my local area and visit each one 4 times through the year, once in each season in an attempt to capture each location at its best.
The project was the brain child of professional landscape photographer Chris Sale and a group of us have joined Chris in completing the project, whilst motivating each other to keep going at our monthly online meetings.
It has been a throughly enjoyable project to undertake, both the capturing of the images but also spending time with fellow photographers to discuss the project each month and making new friends along the way.
Below are my final 12 images, one from each location, and one from each month of the year.
